Day Five:

Today is day five of GAETI. Our last day. It's been fabulous!  I've been blessed to be a part of this wonderful program here at MSU. The presenters for today were Jillian Smarts from Jackson. She talked about character and content. Dr. Bracey stated that the department head feed us lunch. Thank you so much. The food and fellowship were fantastic!!!!

   Words can't describe how much I appreciate being a part of GAETI. The information I learned has made me more confident. I'm able to share what I learned with my fellow teachers. Dr. Bracey, Dr Lee, and Dr. Latham are awesome. They work really hard to present the information in a fun and enjoyable way. I hope that what I've learned, I can teach and reach my student and make a positive and lasting impression. I hope the skills I teach them will help to shape their lives in a positive way.

Thank you again Dr. Bracey for all of your hard work. GOD BLESS YOU!!

Day Four:

Today is day four of GAETI.  We really learned a lot. Kenya Horns talked about Integrating  Career and College Readiness Skills. Mr. Aron Bailey from Huston, Texas talked to us about Urban Instruction for Generation Z.  Mr. Bailey gave us some useful online quiz useful websites.

After lunch we finished our paintings with Dr. Latham. Mine is a mess. Mr. Tremaine Johnson did some hands-on vocabulary games with us.

Can't wait to share our project Friday!!!!

Day Three

Today was exciting and informative. We learned how to use Microsoft Publisher with Mrs. Stephanie Agnew. She showed us how to make posters and how to publish professional posters for presentations.

We also learned how Tools and Strategies for Critically Evaluating Fake News with Beth Downey.   It's important to use reliable and trustworthy sources when doing a  research paper.  After lunch we learned how to use Ancestry.com with Mrs. Dee Baldwin. It was exciting and interesting to learn about our family heritage.

We started tracing and painting our tile boxes for Mrs. Latham. I think mine is going to be harder than I bargained for.

Can't wait until day four.

Day Two:

Today is day two of GAETI . We learned a lot about adobe spark today. We also learned about how to develop effective  presentations  with Stephanie Agnew. It was very interesting learning about the uses of the 3-D printers and how to create 3-D images with Mr. La Foe.

After lunch we painted our art boards and chose a design for them. We also leaned web development with Dr. Lee. I had a great day. Looking forward to day three.

Gaeti 2018

Today is day one at GAETI 2018. It's good to see familiar faces. We learned how to develop positive classroom behavior using music. We created our 6 story titles with Mrs. Latham. We also learned about the social contract with  Mr. Ware. He is wonderful. I can't wait until day two.
